Announcements:
- To the extent that counsel requires an exemption from appearing in person, a request may be made, with the consent of opposing counsel,
by notifying Judge Mayer’s Courtroom Deputy, Sara Roman at least 24 hours in advance of the hearing. If the exemption request is approved by the Court, a Zoom hearing may be scheduled. - Judge Mayer’s Wednesday 9:30 a.m. list is IN PERSON unless otherwise directed by the court. All hearings are held in Courtroom #1 in
Philadelphia at 900 Market Street.- The Wednesday 9:30 a.m. list will contain ALL Philadelphia chapters 7,11, 12, and 15 matters, including those transferred from Chief Judge Coleman.
- Hearing procedures for chapter 13 cases assigned or transferred to Judge Mayer follow one of two paths:
- MATTERS ASSIGNED TO ATTORNEY HUGGINS
- Confirmations, motions to dismiss, and motions to modify will be conducted via Zoom at 9:30 a.m. on Thursdays. The ZOOM link is posted at the top of each Thursday list.
- Matters passed from the Thursday 9:30 list will be continued to 11:00 a.m. Thursday and will be heard via Zoom.
- All other motions in a chapter 13 case will be heard IN PERSON on Thursdays at 11:00 a.m.
- MATTERS ASSIGNED TO ATTORNEY MILLER
- Confirmations, motions to dismiss, and motions to modify will be conducted via Zoom at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesdays. The ZOOM link is posted at the top of each Tuesday list.
- Matters passed from the Tuesday 1:00 list will be heard via Zoom following the call of the list.
- All other motions in a chapter 13 case will be heard IN PERSON on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m.
