Attorneys, court employees, jurors and the public are permitted to carry electronic devices including, but not limited to, cell phones, personal data assistants, blackberries and laptop computers into the courthouse subject to x-ray screening and visual inspection by Court Security Officers at the courthouse entrance lobby. Court Security Officers will bar the possession of any electronic device determined to pose a security threat.

All electronic devices must be rendered inoperable before entering any courtroom, judicial chambers or the office of the clerk of court. Failure to follow these restrictions may result in sanctions imposed by the judge, including confiscation of the electronic device until the end of the court day.
