Beginning January 1, 2012, the case numbering system for newly filed main bankruptcy

cases and adversary cases filed in the Philadelphia and Reading Divisions of the United States

Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania will run sequentially starting with

12-10001 for main bankruptcy cases and 12-0001 for adversary cases. Main bankruptcy case

numbers and adversary case numbers assigned to the Reading Division will no longer be

distinguished by the number "2" after the year. Cases filed in the Philadelphia Division will

continue to be identified under office code number 2 and cases filed in the Reading Division will

continue to be identified under office code number 4. The initials of the assigned judge will

continue to appear after all cases.
